Their writing styles blended well, and I think they made a nice team. Vince Fierro is 38, thrice divorced and starting to feel like happines is just not in the cards for him.
I don’t know what he did to his voice for Trey 3. Vince found, the more he thought about it, that he did too. She loves them anyway. Man, gotta gobble up all of Heidi’s books. The only big problem I had was with the narration style.
I actually got to see them interact with each other, get to know each other, and develop feelings for each other, and that made the sex scenes much sexier, imo. The gamut of emotions he runs all felt very genuine, heartfelt and without artifice. This love story finishes on a strong romantic note with Vince making the ultimate romantic gesture. Perhaps his big, loud, loving Italian Catholic family has kept him from looking honestly at the awkward truth about himself.
